it feels like I could just reach accross eternity in the blink of an eye, and stretch out my fingers and touch the tips of perfection

and yet it feels like I have fallen down to the depths of destruction

life moves so quickly around me, time zips past me, everyone's speaking too fast

i try to run, I can't. My muscles ache, I push. I push hard, i pant, i've lost my breath. Suddenly, I slip, and I fall. I hit the ground, and bounce up into the air, and again I hit the ground.

the gold right before me, I stretch out my hands to reach it, I struggle to my feet........ I stretch out somemore........................

I must be dreaming. my life's a dream. I wake up to the sound of my alarm clock, and as what i've done for the past three months, grab the windowsill and drag myself monotonously out of bed, one hour late for class.

it's just five more weeks. five more weeks. I'll wipe my sweat, i'll shed my blood, but i'll GRADUATE!.
